Early Sullivan Partners Eric Early and Stephen Ma have been named to the 2014 Super Lawyers Business Edition, comprised of attorneys from around the country. This is the fourth time Eric has appeared in the Super Lawyers Business Edition and the first time for Steve, in addition to repeated selections for Eric (10 years straight) and an inaugural selection for Steve as Southern California Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers Business Edition is an annual resource that serves as the go-to guide for general counsel and executives in charge of making legal hiring decisions. The publication is distributed to over 55,000 executives and corporate counsel nationwide.

Stephen Ma moderated a panel, sponsored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association’s (NAPABA) Entertainment Law Committee, entitled “Anatomy of Cross-Media Entertainment Production: Legal Perspectives on Bringing a Blockbuster from Idea to Market,” at NAPABA’s 2014 Annual Convention in Scottsdale, Arizona. This year’s panel also featured Andrew Chang, General Counsel of DreamWorks Animation; Mel Avanzado, Principal of The Avanzado Law Firm; and Michele Wong, Senior Attorney of Microsoft Xbox Studios. Stephen is a standing member of NAPABA’s Entertainment Law Committee.
