Stephen Ma recently contributed to Andrea Huspeni’s Entrepreneur piece “Erin Andrews vs. Marriott: Inside the $75 Million Peephole Lawsuit Against a Major Hotel Chain.” The lawsuit claims that employees of a Marriott hotel were negligent in allowing a man stalking the reporter to reserve a room adjacent to hers in order to record her undressing. In the article, Stephen discusses key issues the defense could present in order to show that the Marriott did not act unreasonably, such as whether the hotel has reasonable security and privacy protocols, and if employees violated these protocols.
