Bryan Sullivan Speaks to The Wrap on New York Times, Trump Tax Returns Dispute

Bryan Sullivan was recently quoted in Brian Flood’s The Wrap article “Will Chris Christie’s Prosecutor Pal Go After the New York Times Over Trump’s Taxes?” which discusses whether the publication could be successfully sued for publishing Donald Trump’s tax returns if they were “illegally obtained.” According to Bryan, while there has been speculation that New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino could bring charges against the Times, it’s not likely.

“I’m sure many people will cite the fact that he’s Christie’s friend and Christie’s relationship with Trump and that it’s all political,” Bryan said. “My experience with state attorney generals is that they really try to do their job because state attorney generals want to have a political future.”
